• Conversations — all messages you send to and receive from AI characters, including text and images.
• Usage data — how you interact with the app (e.g., which characters you talk to, when you're active).
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Conversation memory — we store and summarize your conversations so AI characters can remember what you've talked about, follow up on things you've shared, and build a genuine relationship over time.
• User facts — the AI may extract key details you share (e.g., your interests, your job, people in your life) to personalize future interactions. These are stored as structured facts tied to your relationship with each character.
• Personalization — your location, timezone, and preferences help us deliver a natural experience (e.g., characters won't text you at 3am).
• Service improvement — we use aggregated, anonymized data to improve AI character behavior and app features.

3. AI Processing & Third Parties

Your messages are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate character responses. This means your conversation content is sent to their servers for processing. We use their API services, which have their own data handling policies.

AI-generated images are produced by our image generation service. Reference images you upload (e.g., character photos) are stored on our servers and may be sent to the image generation service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. AI-Generated Content

All AI character responses, posts, images, and storylines are generated by artificial intelligence. They are fictional and do not represent real events, real people, or real opinions. AI characters may reference real places, cultural events, or public information, but their experiences, thoughts, and feelings are entirely simulated.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Conversations, user facts, and account data are stored in encrypted databases. Media files (images, uploads) are stored in encrypted cloud storage.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Conversation summaries and user facts are retained to maintain relationship continuity with your AI companions.

6. User-Uploaded Media

Any images or media you share in conversations are stored privately and are not publicly visible. They are accessible only to you and the AI processing pipeline. We do not use your uploaded media for training AI models.

7. Your Rights

• Access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Deletion — you can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, including conversations, facts, and media. Contact us at [email protected].
• Correction — you can update your profile information at any time through the app.

8. Age Requirement

We and AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
